Accessibility Statement
Last updated:
SmartOne is committed to making smartoneworld.com accessible to its visitors, including persons with disabilities. This statement sets out our voluntary commitment to accessibility and the measures we take.
Our commitment
We aim to align this Website with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, having regard to EN 301 549 and to the principles of the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), to the extent applicable to this Website. This is a corporate information website; this statement is provided as a voluntary commitment and not as an admission that any particular statutory accessibility requirement applies to it. We are actively working towards conformance; an independent accessibility audit has not yet been completed.
Measures taken
- Semantic HTML structure and keyboard-focusable controls.
- A language attribute on pages, with multilingual content via the language switcher.
- Reduced-motion support where technically feasible.
- Alternative text on key images and icons where applicable.
Known limitations
Interactive 3D WebGL visualisations on certain product pages may not be fully accessible to screen-reader users; equivalent descriptive text is provided in the surrounding content.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, contact info@smartoneworld.com. We aim to respond within 15 business days and to provide the information in an accessible format where reasonably possible.
Enforcement and escalation
In Malta, accessibility requirements for products and services are overseen by the Commission for the Rights of Persons with Disability (CRPD) under the Accessibility Requirements for Products and Services Regulations (S.L. 627.03). If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer the matter to the CRPD.
